Whyfield welcomes four new team members and promotes four team members, all in the space of a month!

Four talented new members of the team have started and are settling into their new roles at Whyfield, in Threemilestone.
• Jenna Rundle, a Charted Accountant, has joined as their new Accounts Manager, managing and mentoring their accountants and bookkeepers, as well as looking after a portfolio of clients.
• Matt Luff has joined as their Team Lead, supporting management and the team with day-to-day activities, work plans, HR, and personal development.
• Nicole Taylor and Beth Roberts have joined as Bookkeeping Assistants, supporting the team with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and data entry, as they build up their own portfolios of clients.

As well as a rapidly growing team, growth in the way of career progression is also in full force, with four team members receiving promotions.
• Cherie Cheeseman has moved from Payroll Administrator to Payroll Technician, and gaining ‘ACIPP’ after her name!
• Tamsyn Jose has moved from Office Support to Bookkeeping Assistant. After joining in an office support role, she quickly took an interest in bookkeeping and has now started to study for her first bookkeeping qualification!
• Bev Lockwood has moved from Bookkeeping Assistant to Client Bookkeeper, having passed her AAT Level 3, and becoming a qualified bookkeeper!
• Jessica Crook has moved from Practice Manager to People and Development Director, and a Shareholder of Whyfield!
“We’re so proud of the team and the growth happening throughout the business. One of our favourite stories of career progression comes from Jess.
Jess started here at the company as employee number one, an apprentice doing her Level 2 AAT course. Her role back then was bookkeeper, payroll clerk, administrative assistant, receptionist and everything in between. Fast forward nearly 10 years, with numerous qualifications and promotions under her belt, as well as helping the company through all sorts of challenges, she is now officially a Director and Shareholder!
Jess’ new role is perfectly suited to her, having lived the entire Whyfield journey, and having met every single Whyfield employee (and most probably every Whyfield client, too). She is the shining example of what development opportunities we offer to the team. She is an inspiration and she’s so looking forward to driving the careers of the team forward, supporting them in achieving big things.”
The journey continues for Whyfield, with many of the team working on qualifications and courses to get them to the next stages in their careers, plus there’s more new starters on the horizon.
