South West based Partners at alternative law firm Spencer West have featured prominently in multiple categories in the latest editions of both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 guides for 2025.
Building on the seven Leading and Next Generation Partner accolades and 20 Recommended Lawyer citations the firm achieved in the recent Legal 500 rankings, Spencer West went on to see a further nine Partners across seven categories recognised by the Chambers & Partners UK Guide for 2025, including top IP and IT lawyers, Jowanna Conboye and Edmund Probert, in the South West region.
The firm also achieved Legal 500 rankings in three specific South West practice areas - Corporate & Commercial, Intellectual Property and Information Technology, with nine South West lawyers being recognised as Recommended Lawyers. Partner Christian Wilson earned the Leading Lawyer accolade for his work in employee ownership.
Spencer West Managing Partner Simeon Spencer said the firm’s success in the South West demonstrated the team’s unwavering commitment to their clients and the communities they operate in.
“This is a tremendous accolade for our people who work tirelessly to achieve great outcomes for their clients,” Mr Spencer said.
“It is a testament to their commitment to collaboration and excellence, and the references they received as part of the process illustrate the care and diligence they display every day.”
