Reminder - rail improvement works starting on Monday

We just wanted to remind you that Network Rail will be replacing the track running through Taunton station from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 March. This means no trains can call at Taunton during this time.
 
As a result, no trains will run between Castle Cary/Weston-super-Mare and Taunton/Tiverton Parkway. Buses will replace trains on these routes. Our long-distance services to Devon and Cornwall will run on a diversion via Honiton, extending journey times by around an hour. Trains will run to an amended timetable so customers should check before they travel at www.gwr.com/check. 
 
Journey planners have been updated with the diversion or replacement bus times, and we’ve let customers know through on board and station announcements, traditional and social media, as well as station posters.
