At the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, we strive to acknowledge and showcase some of the best talents in the county with our 30 Under 30 Awards. We have been running these awards for eight years now, highlighting some of Cornwall’s bright young minds proudly.
This year we were astounded by everyone, which is why we want to highlight some talented individuals from the awards, including some Chamber of Commerce members.
The number of qualified candidates in 2023 was overwhelming and it took us time to narrow it down to our top thirty. Here we highlight just six of the amazing award winners, including members and partners of the Cornwall Chamber.
Peaky Digital has been a steadfast partner for the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, so we’ve had our eye on Ben as a 30 under 30 candidate. The Senior Growth Executive for the digital marketing agency, Ben has played a huge part in raising the bar for Peaky Digital and increasing growth whilst providing expert information in a range of quality talks across the South West. He’s one to watch.
Cornwall Chamber members Wildanet provide high-speed broadband across the South West, and whilst their broadband is a success, so is the work of their Propositions and Insights Manager Ella Davis who has been helping the company move from strength to strength as she worked on the provider’s growth trajectory. A CEO of the future, Ella is one to keep an eye on.
Working with businesses to help with workforce development, James is the Project Coordinator for Hospitality Table Cornwall and has made quite the name for himself amongst companies looking for a little extra help. A graduate of Falmouth University, his work with Truro and Penwith College has put him on the map.
Making a name for herself in Cornwall’s thriving hospitality sector is Sophie Curtis, Assistant Marketing Manager at The Alverton and Greenbank sister hotels.
Creating standout PR Campaigns and promoting events, Sophie’s perfectionist nature lends itself naturally to the role, making waves for the hotels.
Founder of award-winning B-corp video agency Bull & Wolf, Joe Turnbull has created an incredible business, all whilst being under thirty years old. Leading his team into another year of growth and video campaigns, Joe helps to champion the creative sector in Cornwall.
Co-founder of artisan food service The Cornish Larder, Abigail has worked tirelessly since 2018 on branding and marketing the Cornish business, helping to get their award-winning products out into the world with great success. She has her fingers in all the proverbial pies, which is working a treat.
At the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce we strive to highlight the bright business minds under 30 in Cornwall.
