Murrells Strengthen Their Leadership Team
Murrells begin 2025 by emphasising their commitment to excellence and growth.

The Truro law firm has promoted its employment lead, Melanie Rowe, and welcomed commercial property specialist Tamsin Mann as new equity partners.

Tamsin, currently the Cornwall Law Society's Commercial Property Lawyer of the Year, re-joins Murrells from the Top 200 firm Stephens Scown. Tamsin was recognised in the 2022 and 2023 editions of the Legal 500, notably for her work with portfolio investors and occupiers.

Melanie joined Murrells in 2018 as the firm's first dedicated employment law specialist. During the past six years, she has grown the firm’s employment law advice service and achieved recognition in the 2025 Legal 500. Additionally, her collaboration with transactional teams has enhanced the firm's core expertise.

Both new partners will take board level responsibility for initiatives at the B Corp™ law firm. Tamsin will oversee training and development, while Melanie will lead recruitment efforts.

Henry Maples, partner at Murrells, remarked:
"We are delighted to welcome Tamsin back to the firm and to acknowledge Mel's outstanding achievements with this well-deserved promotion. Their expertise, leadership, and commitment will be vital as we continue to grow and deliver exceptional service to our clients."
