Think of us as your personal wine shopper and advisor. We can talk to you about your wine requirements whether you are just starting on your journey of wine, an experienced connoisseur or a busy person who doesn't have time to browse and just needs wine!

Old Chapel Cellars is an independent wine merchant based in Truro, Cornwall. We are proud to be one of the top indie wine merchants in UK.

Our roots lie in the former Laymont & Shaw, who were widely regarded as the UK’s premier importer of fine Spanish wines. We aim to deal directly with wineries wherever possible and import wines from all over the world – not just Spain.

We’re also thrilled to share the news that we have become the first wine merchant in the UK – and only the second globally – to become a registered B Corp

After undergoing a rigorous verification process, it was finally confirmed this week that Old Chapel had achieved thehighly-regarded environmental and social certification. Lots of hard graft took place behind the scenes, which definitely justified opening a bottle of bubbly!

We join Danish importer Østjysk Vinforsyning as the only B Corp accredited wine merchants to date. Needless to say we are extremely proud. It’s very rewarding to have our commitment to the highest environmental and social standards validated in this way.
