Ideal Foods has 25 years of experience in the fish trading industry and we export fish products for human consumption to more than 40 countries worldwide.

We are continually evolving, looking for new and innovative ways to expand from our corre market. Our brand include Ideal Foods, Ideal Nutritional Foods and Purely Fish.

Ideal Foods is a family run business with head quarters located in the heart of the Cornish countryside. We also have satellite offices in Grimsby, The Philippines and China.

Ideal Foods is led by Tony Horner, who himself has a lifetime of experience in the seafood industry. He is supported by Jeanette Turpin, Sales Director and Lauren Horner, Technical Director. The company employs an experienced and skilled 20 strong team of staff that enable Ideal Foods to offer a complete sales and export service to it’s customers.

Repeat business is very important to Ideal Foods and we take great pride in providing all our customers with a highly professional and reliable service. We supply all areas of the fish sector from the local fishmongers to overseas supermarkets, fish merchants and Blue Chip international manufacturers and processors.

Our suppliers are just as important to us as our customers and we purchase product from all corners of the world. We are able to use our global sourcing and product knowledge to keep on top of the changing trends in the seafood industry allowing us to react quickly and efficiently.

Our main areas of expertise are Salmo Salar / Salmon Co-products, whitefish procurement, shellfish and the high risk baby food sector.
