The Wave Project - Trustee

We are The Wave Project, a young people’s mental health charity that uses the power of the ocean and Surf Therapy to support over 2000 children and young people every year, and we are looking for new Trustees. The Wave Project was founded in 2010 and has grown to a turnover of over £1.5m and a committed workforce of 35 staff and 1600 volunteers.

This year we were joined by a new CEO and together with the existing Trustees and Senior Team we are developing a future strategy to maximise our impact. To help us develop the charity further and reach our potential we are seeking new Trustees for The Wave Project to join our current board and support the CEO to bring new insight and skills.

We are looking for people passionate about the work of The Wave Project and may either bring generic Trustee / Non Executive Director experience or have skills and experience that include but are not limited to: Finance and Risk; Fundraising; Safeguarding; NHS commissioning and mental health; and Commercial.
