Prior to this he was Editor in Chief of City A.M.\, London's daily business newspaper where he led a team of 30 reporters for the past five years. During his time as Editor\, Christian launched a number of editorial innovations including a redesign of the newspaper\, development of a daily leader column\, promotion of outside columnists and contributors and the launch of a popular podcast. City A.M's main editorial patches include international corporate\, financial\, economic and political news. \n\nIn addition to driving the newsroom Christian represented City A.M. at a wide range of events\, conferences and private gatherings\, and often spoke on topical financial and political matters to UK and international audiences. He is a regular contributor to Sky News and BBC programmes. \n\nChristian was previously Head of Communications and Campaigns at the Institute of Directors. He is a Fellow of the British American Project and is an Advisory Board member of the Institute of Economic Affairs and the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange. \n\nChristian was born and brought up on the Isles of Scilly before attending Truro School.
