Textile Construction - FREE Taster Session

Description

This FREE Taster Session is aimed at those working or interested in the principles and practices of design and craft, or for individuals whose roles involve these key responsibilities.

Within this practical session you will explore embroidery and stitch using non-traditional methods. You will work into unusual surfaces, such as wood, perspex and metal grids, creating a mixed media sculpture, where colourful textile elements will embellish and adorn pre-created forms.

This fully funded Taster Session at Create CIC, Donald Thomas Centre in Camborne, will provide you with useful insights into our Design Craft Maker Foundation Degree and how training in this area could benefit your career.
