Cornwall Port Health Authority is a service of Cornwall Council. The Authority is due to undertake a tender for the supply of services, these being chartering of vessels with crew, maintenance of shellfish sampling buoys and diving services to gather certain shellfish
The purpose of this competitive tender is to establish supply of services for a 5 year period. This will allow the successful bidder(s) the opportunity to invest in their services to CPHA, whilst allowing the authority to control costs for a predetermined period.
We are holding a Provider Information Event. This is due to be held on 25th February 2020 at Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club, Lostwithiel Road, Bodmin, PL30 5AQ.
The event will start at 10:30am, and will last for approximately 2.5 hours. There will be a presentation from Timothy Bage (Port Health Team Manager) on the work of the Port Health Authority, and then Mike Shillaber, Senior Procurement Specialist will take the floor to provide details of the procurement timeline, procurement rules and how you can access the relevant portals. There will then be time after the presentations for questions.
Timothy Bage will also present a draft supplier specification to you, and facilitators at each table to gather feedback from delegates, this is to help us ensure that potential providers have had input into the tender specification, and when it goes to tender we are all certain it is fit for purpose.
