This event is key for our members to ensure they can access the most up-to-date advice, support and be part of the debate around key issues affecting them. These events will be a series of interviews by the Kim Conchie with renowned and recognised individuals.
Daiman moved to Hayle with his young family back in January 2012 after spending eight years in London. Prior to that, he was a lawyer in his native California before attending business school in France. Daiman has held two non-exec directorships in the UK, both in Cornwall (one in social housing and one in support of Cornwall’s creative industries). His professional career started in entertainment then led to internet start-ups and finally financial services for the past 18 years.
Daiman’s approach to life and work is centered around embracing change and learning from it, arguing that change leads to growth and growth leads to prosperity (even if it feels elusive at the moment). Constantly curious and driven by necessity, he wants to explore how lockdown and political forces may unlock opportunities for local businesses.
