There is no cost to attend this event; it is fully funded by the European Social Fund through the Innovation in Higher Level Skills project. The project aims to improve business access to higher level skills courses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The focus of this event:
The primary aim of this event is to gather together key industry players to explore some of the challenges within the sector and to gauge the training requirements to support its future growth.
We will hear from three speakers, followed by a live Q&A session:
1. Kensa Heat Pumps: Matt Trewelha will focus on developments in the sector and the range of projects Kensa are currently working on.
2. Geoscience: Robin Curtis will talk about the challenges of designing of ground connections.
3. University of Exeter: Professor Richard Cochrane and Dr. Justin Hinshelwood will introduce plans for the development of a groundbreaking new course aimed at meeting the skills requirements of a sector expecting to experience fast growth.
The sessions will be followed by a discussion of the next steps for any businesses who are interested in finding out more about the Heat Pump Specification and System Design course, or who would like to be involved in shaping its content.
