Bank of England Event - Presentation

The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) will be announcing the next interest rate decision on Thursday 6^th February, and we will be publishing the Monetary Policy Report (MPR) alongside that announcement, which sets out the Bank’s analysis and forecasts of economic growth, the labour market and inflation.
Malindi Myers and Jamie Barber, the Bank’s South West team, will be doing a series of presentations around the region to explain the economic context and factors that lead to the MPC’s interest rate decision. These will be ‘off the record’ presentations to allow for a more open format to the presentation and Q&A.  Refreshments will be available from 08:30, the presentation will start at 09:00 and finish at 10:00, with an opportunity for networking until 10:30
